MOLSON

This was one of those 4 day, 10 location, multi-spot monster jobs. I loved it, because I love the puzzle that production often amounts to. Casting can become this kaleidoscope of options, as you mix and match to build out scenes that work, while remaining faithful to ethnic diversity and brand guidelines. Locations can transform into a house of cards, where if one location doesn’t get approved, the whole proposed shooting schedule falls down. Add to that tight COVID restrictions (early December 2021), and NHL branding that needed to be approved left and right. It was a sprint from start to finish. I may have cracked open a colour correct when we finally hit camera wrap.
